
Ither The first red knight and relative of King Arthur, in Camelot to rightfully claim his land. His society is often compared to the Gral society in this book. The son of Uterpendragon, he is also related to most of the characters and is the surprisingly weak king of Camelot. Arthur The same Arthur as in all the other books. Schionatulander The brief fiance of Sigune who died in a battle trying to protect the lands of Parzival. At the end of the book, we discover she has died of a broken heart. (literally carrying him) The third time she has become a hermit and lives in a small home built over the grave of her fiance.

The next time he sees her after visiting the Gral, she has deteriorated, lost her hair and is still carrying on about her fiance. At their first meeting she is beautiful, but weeping over her deceased fiance (literally). Shortly after leaving his mother, Parizval meets Sigune and she tells him of his true identy and directs him to Authur's court. Sigune The cousin of Parizval engaged to Schionatulander. However, he wrongly accuses her because it reality it was Parzival's naivety that made it seem that way. Orilus The husband of Jeschute, who pushes the woman for being unfaithful. Only once Parzival comes back and explains the incident is she set free. Orilus thinking she has betrayed him punishes her in a similar manor to Enite in Erec. However, he does not win this kiss and instead takes the ring and broach of Lady Jeschute wife of Orilus. Jeschute Upon his mother's advice, Parzival deciedes to win the ring and kiss of a nobal lady. When she fails to do this and Parzival runs off, she dies of a broken heart. After Gahmuret's death she hides Parzival away hoping to protect him from knighthood.

Herzeloyde The ever loyal second wife of Gahmuret, Herzeloyde is related to just about everyone and her family is basically in charge of the Gral. Eventually he becomes restless again and leaves on a Crusade where he is killed. One this second quest he is persuaded into marrying Herzeloyde, with home he has Parzival. With her he has Fierfiz, and eventually feeling restless, he sets out on more quests. While on a quest marries the heathen queen Belacane. Gahmuret The legendary fighter and father of Parzival, Gahmuret is the king of Anjou. His story mainly consists of how he marries Orgelise, and fights to regain the honor his father lost for him.

He is probably the best knight in Authur's court and most established fighter. Half the story of Parzival is devoted to his adventures.

Gawan The same Gawan (Gawain) that is in every other romantic novel we have read.
